Job summary

Odyssey is seeking a Senior System Cybersecurity Engineer to join the team at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. You will be a hands‑on cybersecurity SME responsible for full integration across the system lifecycle—from acquisition and design through development, testing, fielding, operations, sustainment, and compliance assessment.

Role requires DoD IAM/ CISSP/CASP style certs, RMF experience, and strong skills in risk assessment, vulnerability management, and agile processes.

Qualifications

Citizenship: US Citizen.
Clearance: Top‑Secret capable.
Certification: DoD IAM Level I and related certs.
Education: High School Diploma.
Experience: 15 years in related field; 8 in the DoD; multiple degree paths.
Preferred: IAM Level II/III certifications.

Responsibilities

Perform risk assessment and vulnerability management across digital infrastructure.
Implement robust defenses to protect critical assets and secure infrastructure.
Monitor and respond to security incidents to minimize impact.
Provide security training and awareness programs for staff and customers.
Ensure compliance with DoD controls and RMF requirements.
Manage third‑party risk and boundary device configurations per CAL.
