Job summary

Derex Technologies Inc in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Senior System Consultant to onsite support M365 deployments. You will serve as the resident technical expert for SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Power Apps, Exchange and Purview, delivering regular training and guiding changes across the IT environment.

Applicants should have extensive M365 experience, PowerShell scripting, and training delivery across diverse groups.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years’ experience with M365 applications and products, especially SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange.
• At least 5 years’ experience scripting in PowerShell, with code reviews and repositories.
• At least 3 years’ experience offering and leading trainings to diverse client groups.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks; FBI background check for CJIS clearance.
• HIPAA training/compliance readiness.

Responsibilities

• Consult on use of M365 applications and products.
• Provide regular scheduled training in the use of M365 apps and products.
• Serve as the resident technical expert for M365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Power Apps, Exchange, Purview).
• Arbitrate changes, feature updates, and new features for M365 products.
• Develop Power Apps and SharePoint governance.
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge transfer.
• Report weekly to supervisor on successes, blockers, and issues; raise potential issues early.
• Coordinate with Learning Management System team to provide technical training and support.

Work activities:

• Consult on use of M365 applications and products as needed
• Offer regular scheduled training in the use of M365 applications and products
• Serve as the resident technical expert for M365, with particular focus on SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Power Apps, Exchange, and Purview
• Act as the arbiter of coming changes, feature updates, and new features for M365 products and applications
• Develop power apps and SharePoint governance
• Champion and lead changes in the IT environment regarding M365 products and assist with the adoption of an evergreen mentality for changes to applications and products
• Join our PE team as an active, supportive, guiding member, with particular emphasis toward mentoring more junior members and offering opportunities for growth and knowledge transfer
• Report at least weekly to supervisor on successes, blockers, and issues, and be able to raise potential issues before they arise
• Attend meetings, training, presentations, and consultations on-site and other than the assigned office space as needed
• Coordinate with the Learning Management System team to provide technical training and support

Skills/experience of the assigned staff:

Required

• At least 7 years’ experience with M365 applications and products, especially with
  • SharePoint
  • OneDrive
  • Teams, including Voice and Rooms
  • Exchange
• At least 5 years’ experience scripting in Powershell, with particular experience in conducting code reviews and using code repositories
• At least 3 years’ experience offering and leading consultations to diverse groups of clients, including technical staff and business/programmatic staff
• At least 3 years’ experience preparing, delivering, and leading trainings
  • Doing so with M365 products is strongly preferred
• Be able to track and complete tasks independently
• Able to complete an FBI background check for CJIS clearance
• Able to complete training for HIPAA compliance,

Highly Desired/Preferred

• Experience with Microsoft’s GCC licensing suite
• Power Apps
