Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Mountain View, CA seeks a flexible and self-motivated technician to support Hardware Engineering. The role requires about 4 years of technician experience and basic knowledge of electronics with hands-on use of multimeter and oscilloscope.

You will assist in wiring harness work, fixture design, and assembling test platforms, helping to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues during commissioning and maintenance in a lab environment.

Qualifications

• 4 years of technician experience.
• Basic knowledge of Electronics.
• Must be able to use multimeter & oscilloscope.
• Exposure to Linux/shell environments.

Responsibilities

• Support Hardware Engineering as a technician.
• Collaborate on and assemble test platforms in the lab.
• Design and assemble wire harnesses, fixtures and brackets.
• Capture, elevate, and diagnose hardware and software issues during commissioning and maintenance.

Job Description

• Flexible and self-motivated technician to support Hardware Engineering.

• Basic knowledge of Electronics – Understanding of What/How/Why? Must be able to use multimeter & oscilloscope etc.,
• Entry level wire harness knowledge - crimping, soldering
• Basic familiarity with machining tools for building brackets & fixtures.
• Exposure to Linux/shell environments.
• Collaborate on and assemble test platforms - Create the "Stuff" that enables hardware to be utilized in a lab.
• Includes (but not limited to) fixturing, wiring, cooling Design and assemble wire harnesses Capture, elevate, and diagnose hardware and software issues encountered when commissioning and maintaining test platforms
