Job summary

TE Connectivity's Data & Devices Business Unit seeks a System Architect to define high-level architecture for compute, AI, storage, and networking across next-generation products. You will interface with customers to translate their needs into actionable roadmaps and drive strategy with TE's technology teams.

You will collaborate with engineering, product management, and R&D; evaluate interconnect solutions; contribute to standards groups; and prepare technical documents and presentations for

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in compute, networking, AI or storage system design.
• Familiarity with PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, and InfiniBand.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate system trade-offs for power, latency and performance.
• Experience with industry-standard design tools (simulation, modeling, CAD, or signal integrity analysis).

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers to understand system needs and translate into architecture.
• Lead high-level architecture requirements aligned with compute, AI, and networking.
• Evaluate high-speed interconnect solutions for performance, power, latency, cost.
• Prepare technical documentation and presentations for customer engagements and internal decisions.
• Collaborate with R&D and product teams for feasibility studies and trade-off analyses.
• Support standards groups and internal knowledge sharing.
