Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior System Architect to lead architecture across a multi-team Agile Release Train delivering GEOINT capabilities for NGA. You will own the program's technical roadmap, lead architectural governance, and drive cross-team decisions to enable scalable, secure systems.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, 8+ years in systems/software architecture, and strong experience with cloud-native architectures.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
8+ years of systems or software engineering with architecture leadership.
Experience architecting large-scale distributed cloud-native systems.
Experience leading architecture across multiple development teams in Agile/SAFe.
Strong command of integration patterns, APIs, and data architecture.
Excellent communication with senior Government and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead system architecture definition and governance across multiple Agile delivery teams.
Develop and maintain the program technical roadmap, architectural runway, and enabler backlog.
Chair design reviews and architecture boards; adjudicate cross‑team technical decisions.
Direct analyses of alternatives and technology insertion assessments based on cost, risk, and mission impact.
Align program architecture with Government enterprise standards, security requirements, and interoperability mandates.
Partner with Product Management and the RTE during PI Planning to sequence architectural work.
Mentor architects and technical leads; raise engineering standards across the program.
