Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead systems engineering for an Agile GEOINT program delivering capabilities to NGA. The role is on-site at a government facility, acting as a trusted engineering partner to mission system owners and owning engineering rigor across software, data, and infrastructure.

You will shape how mission needs become verified and delivered, manage requirements, interfaces, and V&V, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with government engineers and delivery

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain polygraph
• 8+ years of systems engineering on complex software-intensive systems
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
• Experience with requirements management, interface definition, and V&V
• Experience supporting government programs through engineering reviews and baselines
• Strong technical writing and stakeholder communication skills
• Ability to work on-site at a government facility

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability from mission needs to delivered capability
• Define and manage system interfaces, interface control documentation, and cross-system dependencies
• Develop and maintain system design documentation, engineering artifacts, and technical baselines
• Lead verification and validation planning and support test execution across releases
• Perform engineering trade studies and risk assessments; recommend courses of action
• Coordinate engineering activities with Government engineers, delivery teams, and external programs
• Mentor mid-level and junior systems engineers and enforce engineering standards
