Job summary

Innovative Computer Solutions Group, Inc is seeking experienced software engineers to develop system designs and implement solutions that meet complex security and performance requirements. You will create database and network configurations, document procedures, and collaborate with managers and engineers to plan and deploy system enhancements.

The role covers front- and back-end web development, data analysis, and technical documentation across diverse environments including mainframe and PCs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software development and data analysis.
• Experience with data structures, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation.
• Experience documenting technical/user materials and software conversions.
• Exposure to mainframe, mid-range and PC environments.
• Lead in the design of program specifications and software implementations.
• Experience with DOT NET development.
• Experience with front and back end processing of web applications.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop system design specifications.
• Prepare documents for general design of solutions meeting system and security requirements.
• Develop specifications for databases, networks, security, storage and software configurations.
• Create structured diagrams for databases, networks, security, storage and software.
• Document configurations of databases, servers, hardware, security and network monitor systems.
• Develop system documentation and installation procedures.
• Develop guidelines for upgrading procedures of databases, hardware and OS.
• Develop detailed systems operation designs.
• Plan program systems implementations and changes with staff.
• Create, test and maintain program systems.
• Design reports, audit trails/logs, and security mechanisms.
• Provide assistance to technical support staff when issues arise.
