Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an IT Software Development Specialist Sr to develop, maintain, test, and debug software in a Windows client/server environment using PL/SQL, Oracle, Progress 4GL ADE, .Net, and Microsoft SQL. You will define objectives and prepare specifications for moderately complex information systems.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of language development experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
• 4–6 years of language development experience
• Experience interpreting user requirements and designing business applications
• Performs other duties as assigned; supports quality program(s)
• Strong knowledge of language development and applications design

Responsibilities

• Becomes familiar with most aspects of the application including reports, parameters, claims management, intake services and interfaces

• Develops and maintains software for insurance carrier and regulatory groups
• Tests and debugs assigned projects and assists others with testing
• Prepares documentation on new or existing software
• Investigates call escalations and applies necessary corrections
