Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a System Analyst in Lansing, MI to collect and document clear business requirements for campaign finance projects, acting as ScrumMaster on agile teams using Monday.com/JIRA and coordinating with the PMO for artifacts.

The role emphasizes mentoring and solidifying an Agile mindset, with a focus on maintaining the backlog and ensuring smooth transition from project work to maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5 years in BA or system analysis required.
• 5 years QA experience required.
• 5 years experience with Agile tools (epics/features/user stories).
• Understanding BA/QA/Dev roles and responsibilities.
• Experience documenting AS-IS/TO-BE processes.
• 3 years creating product roadmaps.
• Familiar with PM methodologies/Agile.
• Proficient BA tools such as Figma and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Document clear, testable business requirements per templates.
• Create test plans with the business ensuring repeatable processes.
• Document repeatable steps for maintenance planning.
• Facilitate requirement gathering meetings with stakeholders.
• Maintain and prioritize the project backlog with the PO.
• Understand scope and monitor requirements to meet objectives.
• Ensure awareness of data governance objectives with stakeholders.
• Resolve critical IT issues as BA.
• Assess benefits and impact of changes to scope.
• Ensure SEM deliverables are reviewed and approved.
• Coordinate with UI/UX, architects, DBAs, devs, QA to clarify requirements.
