Job summary

Hyundai AutoEver America in West Point, GA is seeking a System Administrator II to manage Windows and Linux servers, VMware vSphere, and related core services in a 24/7 environment. You will lead infrastructure initiatives, troubleshoot complex issues, implement backup/security controls, and collaborate with Headquarters, vendors and internal stakeholders to keep production systems reliable and scalable.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years hands‑on experience as primary administrator for Windows and/or Linux servers
2+ years VMware vSphere administration, vSAN preferred
Strong server administration, troubleshooting, and production support
Ability to analyze complex technical issues and perform root‑cause analysis
Ability to work independently and manage priorities

Responsibilities

Design, install, patch, and maintain Windows and Linux servers and core services
Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and system issues; root‑cause analysis
Develop, test, and validate backup and disaster recovery strategies
Implement monitoring, analyze performance, and develop automation scripts
Apply security controls, patch management, and vendor coordination
Lead or contribute to infrastructure projects and stakeholder communications
