You will install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and web services to meet business processing needs. Responsibilities include system monitoring, backup/restore planning, audits for compliance, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in Linux system administration.
• Experience in AWS environments and on-site operations.
• Top Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux OS on workstations and servers, including web servers.
• Perform software installations and upgrades with scheduling aligned to IT policies.
• Monitor and tune systems for optimum performance and reliability.
• Ensure data integrity and implement backups and archive procedures.
• Conduct routine hardware/software audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain a comprehensive OS/hardware/software documentation library.
