Job summary

Dexian Government Solutions seeks a System Administrator IV to support DHA GSP TO7 operations at ATAMMC, Fort Belvoir, VA. You will lead system administration, mentor staff, and ensure secure, reliable infrastructure across Microsoft, Linux, and VMware platforms.

The role emphasizes certification, DCWF Advanced proficiency, and collaboration with architecture/engineering teams to test and implement new infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressive experience in system administration.
• Experience deploying and sustaining enterprise server operating systems including Windows Server, Linux, and VMware.
• Experience managing Microsoft AD in enterprise environments.
• Experience with backup/recovery, performance monitoring, and capacity analysis.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation (SOPs, guides, knowledge bases).
• Experience with DISA STIG compliance in DoD IT environments.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• DoD Cyber Workforce Framework level: Advanced; Cyber Role: 451 – System Administrator – Advanced.
• Master's degree or equivalent years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, sustain, and troubleshoot server operating systems and related infrastructure.
• Manage day-to-day administration, integrity, security, and availability of infrastructure.
• Perform daily system backups, monitor performance and capacity, maintain secure posture.
• Create and maintain documentation including SOPs and guides.
• Collaborate with architecture/engineering to evaluate, test, and implement new infrastructure hardware/software.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades and optimization; act as site lead.
• Install, configure, maintain, and optimize Windows/Linux/VMware servers.
• Sustain Microsoft Active Directory and object maintenance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and document resolutions.
• Apply, document, and gain approval for STIGs.
• Participate in On-Call/Call-Back rotations.
