Job summary

Dexian Government Solutions seeks a System Administrator IV to support the DHA GSP TO7 at ATAMMC, Fort Belvoir, VA. The role oversees servers, networks, and security, mentoring junior staff and driving infrastructure strategy.

Required: 10 years in system administration, DoD/STIG experience, Master’s degree or equivalent, and strong scripting (PowerShell/Bash). On-site with Tier 3 background check; contract hours Mon-Fri 0600-1800.

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressive experience in system administration.
• Experience deploying and sustaining enterprise server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, VMware).
• Experience managing Microsoft Active Directory in enterprise environments.
• Experience with backup/recovery operations, performance monitoring, and capacity analysis.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation (SOPs, maintenance guides, knowledge bases).
• Experience with DISA STIG compliance in DoD IT environments.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• DCWF proficiency level: Advanced; Cyber Role 451 – System Administrator - Advanced.
• Education: Master’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, sustain, and troubleshoot server OS and related infrastructure.
• Manage day-to-day administration, integrity, security, and availability of infrastructure.
• Perform daily system backups, monitor performance, and maintain secure posture.
• Create and maintain documentation and knowledge bases.
• Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to evaluate and test new infrastructure hardware and software.
• Perform infrastructure maintenance and security upgrades.
• Lead automation projects and write scripts for system management tasks.
• Provide strategic direction for system administration and mentor staff.
• Lead projects related to infrastructure upgrades and optimization; site lead responsibility.
• Install, configure, maintain, and optimize Windows, Linux, and VMware servers.
