Job summary

Akina, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator for the TS/SCI program. The role provides Infrastructure Server and Sustainment services across two sites and geographic locations, integrating the EC data system and working with government monitoring services.

Requirements include a BS in a technical field with 10 years of Sys Admin experience (or 15 years without degree) and DoD 8570 IAT II certification. Salary range is $180k–$220k per year, with 24 days PTO, holidays, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• B.S. in a technical discipline and 10 years’ experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required or 15 years’ experience in lieu of degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
• Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
• Configure and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
