Job summary

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is hiring a Senior Systems Administrator to provide Tier 3 systems administration, endpoint management, and security for on-premises and cloud-hosted DOD/federal environments. The role covers Windows servers, Intune/Defender, Tanium, Wyse/WMS, and M365 services while ensuring compliance with operational and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience administering, configuring, maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting enterprise systems across on-premises and cloud environments, including Windows servers, endpoints, and enterprise management platforms.
• Knowledge of endpoint management, configuration, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity practices, including Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Tanium, Forescout, Group Policy, and implementation of security requirements.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network, connectivity, application, and endpoint issues, including application networking, load balancing, high availability, and fault-tolerant environments.
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems, identify root causes, develop effective solutions, and provide Tier 3 support to end users and Tier 1/2 support teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, technical teams, vendors, and external partners while providing technical guidance, end-user training, documentation, and responsive customer-focused support.
• Ability to research and learn new technologies, adapt to evolving mission requirements, and evaluate and recommend technology solutions that improve system functionality, security, and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 support for end users and Tier 1/2 teams across multiple locations, including local and remote environments.
• Resolve complex software, connectivity, networking, and endpoint issues; perform vulnerability management and security compliance.
• Support application networking, load balancing, and fault-tolerant configurations; assist with server and application installations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners; deliver end-user training and documentation; recommend and implement technology solutions aligned with the mission.
