Job summary

Dexian Government Solutions is seeking a System Administrator IV to support the DHA GSP TO7 contract at ATAMMC, Fort Belvoir, VA. The role focuses on operation and upkeep of computer systems, servers, and networks, with senior-level oversight, mentoring, and strategic direction.

The incumbent will supervise system admin functions, manage security, integrity, and availability, and collaborate with architecture/engineering teams to implement new infrastructure solutions while leading site-wide

Qualifications

• Ten+ years progressive experience in system administration.
• Experience deploying enterprise server operating systems including Windows Server, Linux, and VMware.
• Experience managing Microsoft Active Directory in enterprise environments.
• Experience with backup/recovery operations, performance monitoring, and capacity analysis.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation including SOPs, guides, and knowledge bases.
• Experience with DISA STIG compliance in DoD IT environments.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• DoD Cyber Workforce Framework proficiency level: Advanced; DCWF designation 451.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, sustain, and troubleshoot server OS and related infrastructure.
• Manage day-to-day administration, integrity, security, and availability of infrastructure platforms.
• Perform daily system backups, monitor performance and capacity, and maintain a secure posture.
• Create and maintain documentation including SOPs and knowledge bases.
• Collaborate with architecture and engineering to evaluate and test new infrastructure hardware/software.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades and act as site lead.
• Install, configure, maintain, and optimize Windows, Linux, and VMware server OSes.
• Sustain Microsoft Active Directory, including object creation and maintenance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and document resolutions.
• Apply, document, and gain approval for STIGs.
• Participate in On-Call/Call-Back rotation.
