Job summary

INSPYR Solutions in Orange, CT seeks a Senior System Administrator to manage servers across Windows and Linux in a multi-OS, hybrid IT environment.

You will analyze and improve systems, collaborate with a team, and address IT security issues while ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of critical applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in IT Systems Administration.
• Windows Active Directory certifications or commensurate experience.
• PowerShell, Azure Intune and Hyper-V virtualization experience.

Responsibilities

• Administration of servers in a multi-OS, hybrid IT environment.
• Best Practice analysis of existing systems and processes.
• Collaborates in a team to develop and implement systems and process improvements.
• Analysis and remediation of IT Security issues.
• Root-cause issue analysis and remediation.
• Ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of IT systems and applications.
• Performs other duties and special projects as needed.
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written skills.
• Demonstrated holistic understanding of IT environments.
• Strong Windows Administration (Emphasis on AD, Group Policy, security, scripting).
• Strong IT Security background.
• Linux Administration.
• Physical and Virtual Infrastructure.
