Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a ServiceNow Administrator II for direct hire in The Woodlands, TX. The role focuses on the administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform and acting as the SME to implement processes and solutions that enhance productivity.

Responsibilities include architecture and implementation of ServiceNow platforms, collaboration with lines of business, and ongoing improvements to workflows and integration. Onsite presence is required 3x per week.

Qualifications

• Active CSA certification required.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years Agile and/or ITIL experience.
• 3+ years ServiceNow app experience for systems development and maintenance.

Title: ServiceNow Administrator

Duration: Direct Hire/ Permanent

Location: The Woodlands, TX, 77380 (onsite 3x per week)

Summary

The ServiceNow Administrator II is responsible for the administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. As the subject matter expert, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective processes and solutions are implemented that facilitate the rollout of new applications and enhance the productivity of existing ones. Responsible for architecture and implementation of platforms within ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.
• Responsible for the architecture of the ServiceNow platform.
• Work with LOB to provide a solution while retaining the integrity of the platform by following best practices.
• Propose effective processes and solutions to increase and enhance productivity.
• Recommend improvements or changes to technical and functional designs where appropriate.

Skills

• Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics.
• Intermediate understanding of various network systems and the alignment of Snow and ServiceNow for hardware and software applications.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage timelines and prioritize workload.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
• Guide the ServiceNow team as needed.
• Ability to work from a directive with little or no supervision; minimum rework required from supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and ITIL development technologies and tools, and software engineering concepts, methodologies, and architectural styles.
• Solid background in integration (interfacing) of enterprise software systems with ServiceNow
• Exceptional working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, etc.
• Exceptional working knowledge of workflow design and implementation
• Skilled in managing multiple updates of datasets and coordinating their promotion throughout multiple instances.
• Strong knowledge of Web services integration (i.e., JavaScript, XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, and CSIS)
• Intermediate ability in JavaScript, including usage of jQuery, Bootstrap and/or AngularJS frameworks; and HTML.

Qualifications

• Active CSA is required.
• 3-5 years of relevant technology experience required, including:
• 2+ years' Agile and/or ITIL experience, and
• 3+ years' ServiceNow application experience for systems development and maintenance.

Formal Education & Certification

• Technology certifications in appropriate disciplines preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Business Administration, or related field, preferred.
