Job Description:

This position is for System Administration support for development and production environments for a mission-critical Identity and Access Management (IdAM) system. Responsibilities include working with a team to obtain and configure Virtual Machines (VMs), loading operating systems and software, performing security hardening, patching, and monitoring status. The position will also support ISSO and ISSEs in obtaining and maintaining security certification and accreditation. Apply knowledge of computer operations, platforms, systems, architectures, functions, and terminology. Independently read, write, and implement standard operating procedures and technical documentation.

Required Clearance: TS/SCI with FS Polygraph

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines
2. 10 years System Administration experience. An additional 4+ years of System Administration experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 14 years.
3. 2+ years’ experience with PKI authentication services.
4. Experience with:
1. Configuration and Maintenance of Virtual Machines
2. VCenter/VMWare
3. Linux and Windows operating systems (CentOS, RedHat, Windows 10, Windows Server)
4. DNS
5. Active Directory (AD)
6. Scripting languages (e.g. Perl, bash, etc.)
7. Ansible Playbooks
8. Jenkins – Continuous Integration /Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
9. OS and Software application patching (e.g. IAVA, Version updates)
10. AWS (VPC, EC2, S3)
5. Attention to detail and time management
6. Excellent communication skills
7. Ability to provide afterhours call-in support
