Job summary

Chitra is seeking a Senior System Administrator to support the CBL Battle Lab Facility at Fort Gordon, GA. All work is onsite under a contract to provide advanced IT administration, networking, and security operations to sustain experimental environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with IA/WI, certifications like CompTIA Security+ or CISSP, MCSA Server 2012, VMware ESXi/vSphere, and five+ years in enterprise IT.

Qualifications

• IAWF/ IAT II track knowledge and baseline certification at hire.
• CompTIA certification at hire (or higher such as CISSP).
• MCSA Server 2012 certification required at hire.
• Within six months, obtain VMware ESX/vSphere or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience administering networks and systems in prior eight years.
• Advanced IT admin skills: remote administration, GPO, backups, monitoring.
• Advanced skills in Collaboration Services: Exchange, SharePoint, Adobe Connect.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite system and network support for the Fort Gordon lab environment.
• Manage remote administration, RDP, GPO, and system backups/recovery.
• Monitor performance and optimize datacenter operations and virtualization.
• Administer collaboration services including Exchange and SharePoint.
• Maintain asset management, storage, and security posture; obtain SCI eligibility.

Job description

The Company is looking for a Senior System Administrator to provide support to CBL Battle Lab Facility located at Fort Gordon, GA. All work will be performed onsite. This contract will support the

CBL's mission is to provide experimentation support to the C- CDID with a dynamic network experimentation integrated with CO, DODIN-A, EW, and IA through the Cyber Battle Lab’s Experimentation Branch (EB), Environments Support Branch (ESB), and the Army Persistent Experimentation Environment (APEN) Cyber Enterprise Service Center (CESC).

The Experimentation Support contract will provide support in the form of experiments, assessments, analyses and network support that will validate the proposed new technical solutions to resolve known Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership & Education, Personnel, Facilities Policy (DOTMLPF-P) capability gaps within the CO, EW, Network, and IA force modernization lines of effort

Senior System Administrator RHN-E Shall

• This position is designated as Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) Information

Assurance Technical Level II (IAT II). Baseline certification: upon hire must already possess (and be maintaining) current, CompTIA commercial certification (or higher, such as CISSP, etc.).

• Computing environment (CE) certification: upon hire, must already possess (and be maintaining) current certification for Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Server 2012.

• Within six months of hire, must obtain either: VMWare certification, VCPS-DCV, or Udemy training certification VMware ESX and vSphere Admin Tutorial, or ITU training certification VMware vSphere VCP5.5.

• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience or equivalent in administering networks and systems, worked directly in the career field during five (5) of the preceding eight (8) years.

• Must possess advanced IT administrator skills in remote administration, remote desktop, Group Policy Object (GPO) management, system backup and recovery, and monitoring servers for performance evaluation and optimization.

• Must possess advanced IT Administrator skills in Collaboration Services, e.g., Adobe Connect Server, Chat Services, SharePoint Portal, and Electronic Email (Exchange) Server.

• Must possess advanced skills in datacenter management, Cloud Services, virtualization, storage area networks (SANs), data/system backups, and asset management.

• Must possess expert remote troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Obtain and Maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
