Job summary

Chitra is seeking an Information System Security Officer to support the Battle Lab Facility located at Fort Gordon in GA. All work is onsite under the CBL mission, providing experimentation support across CO, DODIN-A, EW, and IA domains.

The role requires DoD IAM I/Iaw familiarity, baseline certifications (Security+, CISSP, CASP or CAP), and proof of ongoing clearance with SCI eligibility. Responsibilities include accreditation management, risk assessment, and coordination of configuration

Qualifications

• Active DoD baseline credential required at hire.
• Experience supporting DoD systems accreditation processes (DIACAP, RMF).
• Knowledge of risk assessment and risk mitigation in information systems.

Job description

This role is for an Information System Security Officer to provide support the Battle Lab
Facility located at Fort Gordon in GA. All work will be performed onsite. This contract will
support the CBL mission to provide experimentation support to the C- CDID with dynamic
network experimentation integrated with CO, DODIN-A, EW, and IA through the Cyber Battle
Lab's Experimentation Branch (EB), Environments Support Branch (ESB), and the Army
Persistent Experimentation Environment (APEN) Cyber Enterprise Service Center (CESC).
The Experimentation Support contract will provide support in the form of experiments,
assessments, analyses, and network support that will validate proposed new technical solutions to
resolve known Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership & Education, Personnel,
Facilities Policy (DOTMLPF-P) capability gaps within the CO, EW, Network, and IA force
modernization lines of effort
This position is designated as Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) Information Assurance
Management Level I (IAM I) position.
Baseline certification: upon hire, must already possess (and be maintaining) at least one
active DoD-approved baseline certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE or ISC²
Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) or GSLC or CISSP.
Computing environment (CE) certification: On day one must provide proof of
certification as either ISC² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
or CompTIA Certified Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP).
Be knowledgeable of and have experience supporting DoD systems accreditation,
certification, and authorization processes (e.g. DIACAP, RMF).
Be skilled at and have experience: assessing & mitigating risk in information
systems; performing compliance auditing of information systems; developing and
maintaining DoD information systems accreditation documentation; coordinating &
leading configuration control board activities. Obtain and maintain a Top Secret security
clearance with SCI eligibility
