AeroVironment is seeking a System Administrator to manage and support mission-critical IT infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments. You will automate tasks with batch and shell scripting, and work with VMware virtualization and Dell storage solutions to ensure high availability.

Ideal candidates will have extensive SA experience, Python scripting, and an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support aerospace and defense programs in a multi-platform setting.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field is required or equivalent combination of education, and experience. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 14+ years of system administration experience.
• Strong Windows and Linux usage to include batch and shell scripting.
• Strong Python scripting skills.
• Advanced experience with VmWare administration.
• Experience with Dell administration (DataDomain, PowerFlex/PowerStore storage).
• Proficiency configuring Linuxand Windows environments.
• An active TS/SCI with Polygraph

• Administer and support Windows and Linux environments, utilizing batch and shell scripting to automate routine tasks, streamline operations, and improve system efficiency.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VMware virtualized environments to ensure optimal performance, availability, and resource utilization.
• Administer and support Dell enterprise infrastructure and storage solutions, including Data Domain, PowerFlex, and PowerStore.
• Conduct advanced system troubleshooting, diagnostics, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex infrastructure issues across operating systems, virtualization platforms, and storage environments.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration
• Configure and manage RedHat Linux and Windows systems.
• Collaborate with hardware vendors on system specs and refreshes.
