Job summary

CPG Beyond, Inc. is seeking a Critical Systems Technician IV, Switchgear in Northern Virginia to lead startup, commissioning, repairs and preventive maintenance of mission-critical electrical gear.

The role requires strong knowledge of UPS, switchgear, and power systems, with the ability to read diagrams, train staff, and coordinate field work with sales, project managers and customers.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in electronics, electrical theory, or similar discipline.
• 7+ years of field repair / customer service experience with UPS, switchgear, PLCs, batteries, monitoring equipment or equivalent.
• NETA/NICET Level 2 or 3 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review technical specifications with sales team and project managers to identify field operations scope of project as defined in bid packages.
• Interface with sales team to ensure proper specification compliance.
• Review Submittal Packages and factory specifications to meet facility requirements.
• Coordinate site testing and equipment handover with field and factory teams.
• Respond to service calls as required and travel up to 75%.
