Job summary

CPG is seeking a Critical Systems Technician IV in the Houston area to lead installation, service, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and operation of mission-critical data center electrical equipment under contract.

The candidate will monitor contractual compliance, provide technical leadership, and coordinate with project managers, sales, and service teams. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• NetA/NICET Level II+ certification preferred.
• NFPA 70E Low/High Voltage knowledge.
• Ability to read/understand one-line and three-line diagrams, blueprints, schematics.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications with sales team and PMs to define field operations scope.
• Interface with services team to ensure specification compliance.
• Provide job-specific technical support and on-site testing.
• Install and service Power Distribution Equipment.
• Perform PMs on contracted gear and related components.
• Tackle field troubleshooting of distribution/controls.
