Job summary

Vaagen Bros. Lumber Inc. is a family-owned wood products manufacturer with operations in Colville, WA. We are seeking a Lead Millwright for the swing shift to lead maintenance activities and ensure safe, efficient operation of plant equipment.

The role focuses on supervising maintenance staff, coordinating schedules, and performing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and welding repairs. Schedule runs Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–1:00am, with competitive hourly pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated problem solving and technical troubleshooting.
• Team leadership and ability to coach and mentor others.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Lean techniques experience preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the swing-shift maintenance team.
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling and safety culture.
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and welding repairs.
• Conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance on heavy equipment.
