Job summary

Vaagen Bros. Lumber Inc. in Colville, WA seeks a Lead Millwright for swing shift to lead and supervise a maintenance team, manage scheduling, and drive safety and lean initiatives. The role covers troubleshooting, welding, and maintaining heavy equipment across processing lines.

The position requires 18+ years old, HS diploma or GED, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. Schedule is 3:00pm–1:00am, Monday–Friday, with full benefits and a company laptop and phone allowance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance team on swing shift including time clock management, performance reviews, disciplinary action, and training.
• Perform various tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Coaching and mentoring team members.
• Maintain mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, air & conveying systems.
• Perform all preventative maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and welding repair tasks.
