Job summary

White House Black Market is seeking a seasoned design leader to build and develop product categories for multiple seasons. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into line plans, fabrics, and presentation boards while preserving brand integrity.

You will manage multiple development stages, partner with sourcing on materials, and present to senior management. A design degree and 5–7 years retail design experience are required, with leadership skills and CAD/Adobe

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design required.
• 5–7 years of design experience in the retail industry.
• Excellent managerial, organization and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator; CAD experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops product and partners with teams designing other categories to ensure cohesive design direction.
• Works with cross-functional teams to coordinate assortments for presentation through print artwork, fabric, silhouette, and presentation boards.
• Manages multiple seasons at different development stages, aligned with PLC and TA calendars.
• Executes development interpretation and communicates creative packages and deadlines to internal and external teams.
• Coordinates visual boards and samples to drive newness to the brand.
• Prepares seasonal product reviews for senior management and merchant team with line presentations and concept boards.
