Job summary

Solerity, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer 3 (SWE3) to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems such as processing-intensive analytics and real-time components. The role includes leading teams, reviewing code, and ensuring software quality according to documented requirements.

The ideal candidate brings 20+ years of SWE experience and a BS in CS or related field, with strong Python, ML/AI, and DevOps skills. On-site at the Emerson III facility in Maryland, supporting U.S.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of SWE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop complex database or data repository interfaces and queries.
• Develop and implement algorithms that meet system performance and functional requirements.
