Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Service Validation and Testing (SVAT) Administrator in Colorado Springs, CO. The Senior SVAT Administrator acts as the gatekeeper for IT quality assurance, ensuring that all proposed changes, updates, and new systems meet stringent operational and security standards before entering the production environment.

Rooted in ITIL service management principles, this role manages the Test and Integration Laboratory (TIL) and leads the evaluation of system hardening, performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 8–10 years IT experience and 3+ years in testing/QA.
• Broad background in server administration, networking, and virtualization.
• Familiarity with DoD RMF and STIG compliance testing.
• DoD 8570/8140 certification at IAT Level II or III, current at placement.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and oversee test plans for patches, upgrades, and new tech.
• Manage Test and Integration Laboratory (TIL) to mirror production.
• Track defects using Jira/ServiceNow and coordinate fixes.
• Validate DISA STIGs, patches, and security remediations.
• Present test results and risk assessments to CAB for deployment.
