Job summary

SAIC in Colorado Springs, CO seeks a hybrid Systems Test Engineer to join our team, contributing to testing, integration, and deployment of mission-critical solutions for warfighters.

You will work with software, hardware, and complex systems, participate in agile ceremonies, and ensure Section 508 testing and UAT support. The role requires collaboration with diverse teams and mission-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD with extensive experience in systems testing.
• 14+ years (or 12+/10+) of related experience per degree.
• U.S. citizen with TS clearance and SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Participate in agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for mission-critical applications.
• Integrate new ground systems into legacy SCN systems, including roadmap development and on-site testing.
• Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, and Section 508 compliance testing.
• Support integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Promote test automation and best practices to improve software quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot testing issues.
• Build a deep understanding of mission applications and testing requirements.
