Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Test Engineer III (DevSecOps Support) to join the team in Colorado Springs. This role involves developing comprehensive test plans and executing validation procedures, collaborating closely with software developers and cybersecurity staff to ensure system functionality and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in test engineering, including database management, configuration management, and robust communication skills. An active Secret clearance is required, with a salary range of USD $116,200.00/Yr. to USD $194,000.00/Yr.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in test engineering.
• Experience in software and hardware integration engineering.
• 5–7 years of System Administration experience.
• 10+ years of Database Administration experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with Dell VxRail deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, scripts, and procedures for system verification.
• Conduct integration, regression, and acceptance testing.
• Produce and review traceable test plans and test cases.
• Coordinate deficiency tracking and collaborate with teams.
• Deliver verification evidence to demonstrate operational readiness.
