Job summary

Regal Rexnord's US R&D Sustaining Engineering team seeks a Design Engineer to support existing product lines in a fast-paced environment. You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues, process ECOs, and collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality to improve products used in medical and industrial devices.

The role requires problem-solving using data, DFMEA/PFMEA involvement, and experience with CAD tools and Solidworks.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years manufacturing or design experience.
• Strong understanding of quality systems and process improvement tools.
• Experience with electric motors or precision rotating equipment preferred.
• Experience with QS and ISO requirements is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support existing products.
• Facilitate engineering change orders (ECOs).
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality teams on design improvements.
• Support customer RMA analysis to provide sustainable solutions.
• Interact with Application Engineering and customers to ensure design solutions meet expectations.
• Support cost-control initiatives (VAVE).
• Champion Regal Rexnord culture and core values.
