Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Architect to lead commercial and public building projects in Upington, Northern Cape. The ideal candidate will bring at least 8 years of experience, SACAP registration, and a strong track record in sustainable design, BIM delivery, and team leadership.

You will manage design development through construction, ensuring compliance with codes and delivering high-performance, resource-efficient buildings.

Qualifications

• Professional architecture degree from an accredited institution.
• Mandatory SACAP registration.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in commercial/public buildings.
• Experience managing projects from concept to completion.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building technologies.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and development of commercial and public buildings with a sustainability focus.
• Develop architectural concepts, master plans, and detailed design documentation.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and sustainability standards.
• Manage project teams, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and contractors for integrated high-performance buildings.
