Job summary

TeraFlex in West Jordan, Utah is seeking a Senior Engineer Manager to lead the Falcon Shocks design, development, and validation of advanced suspension systems for off‑road performance.

The role centers on mechanical design, product development, and rigorous testing, with the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and guide cross‑functional teams in manufacturing, quality, and testing. Strong background in automotive suspension is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience in automotive or off-road performance industries.
• Proven design and tuning experience for shock absorbers, suspensions, or dampers.
• Strong 3D CAD proficiency and FEA tooling experience.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of suspension and shock components from concept through production.
• Perform engineering analysis, modeling, and simulation to optimize performance and manufacturability.
• Oversee prototype builds, testing, and validation including vehicle and dyno-based tuning.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and testing teams across the program.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Drive continuous improvement in design standards, materials, and processes.
