Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Professional Surveyor/Office Leader to join our Ocala, Florida Office. This role manages the full life cycle of surveying projects, including scope, schedule, cost, and client relations, while leading the office and mentoring staff.

You will perform CAD drafting in AutoCAD/Civil3D, prepare proposals, review field notes, and collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure quality and profitability. Florida licensure or timely attainment is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics or Engineering preferred.
• Currently licensed Professional Surveyor (PSM in Florida) or able to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as Project Manager/Project Surveyor.
• Proficient with AutoCAD/Civil3D.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manages the full lifecycle (proposal-initiation-execution-control-closeout) of surveying projects.
• Provides CAD drafting, prepares draft and final documents, generates reports.
• Prepares survey cost estimates and detailed proposals.
• Reviews field notes, processes field data, and analyzes legal descriptions.
• Collaborates with surveyors, engineers, and technicians; leads project meetings.
• Maintains licensure and mentors staff; signs/seals surveys under supervision.
