Lead surveying projects, supervise staff, and coordinate with engineers and clients to meet project goals. The role requires a Tennessee PLS license, 8+ years of land surveying experience, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in land surveying, transportation focus.
• Tennessee Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required.
• Proficiency with surveying equipment and software (MicroStation, ORD, Civil 3D).
• Strong understanding of transportation design and survey requirements.
• Excellent project management and team leadership skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage surveying projects, including roadways, bridges, utilities and related infrastructure.
• Supervise a team of surveyors, ensuring quality control and adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with engineers, clients, and stakeholders to meet project goals.
• Review and interpret survey data for design and construction purposes.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
• Manage project documentation, including survey reports, drawings, and permits.
• Conduct fieldwork when necessary, providing technical oversight and guidance.
• Ensure safety of all team members and compliance with safety regulations in the field.
