HMB Professional Engineers, LLC is seeking a Surveyor (PLS) to join the Nashville, TN team. The role focuses on land surveying for transportation projects, leading a team, and delivering accurate data for design and construction.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage surveying projects, including roadways, bridges, utilities and related infrastructure.
• Supervise a team of surveyors, ensuring quality and timely delivery within budget.
• Coordinate with engineers, clients, and stakeholders to meet project goals.
• Review and interpret survey data for design and construction purposes.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Manage project documentation, including reports, drawings, and permits.
• Conduct fieldwork, providing technical oversight and guidance.
• Ensure safety of all team members in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage surveying projects, including roadways, bridges, utilities and related infrastructure.
• Supervise a team of surveyors, ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate and collaborate with engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to meet project goals.
• Review and interpret survey data for design and construction purposes.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
• Manage project documentation, including survey reports, drawings, and permits.
• Conduct fieldwork when necessary, providing technical oversight and guidance.
• Ensure the safety of all team members and compliance with safety regulations in the field.
