HMB Professional Engineers, LLC is seeking a Surveyor (PLS) to join our Nashville team. The role covers leadership of surveying projects and collaboration with engineers and clients to achieve project goals.

The ideal candidate has a Tennessee PLS license, 8+ years of land surveying experience, and strong skills in MicroStation, ORD and Civil 3D. Hybrid work options are available along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of land surveying experience, especially for transportation projects.
• Must hold Tennessee Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
• Proficient with surveying equipment and Civil 3D workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage surveying projects including roadways, bridges, and utilities.
• Supervise surveyors, ensuring quality and on-time delivery within budgets.
• Collaborate with engineers, clients and stakeholders to meet project goals.
• Review survey data for design and construction use.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Manage project documentation and permits.
• Provide field oversight and guidance as needed.
• Maintain safety for all team members in the field.
