KCW Engineering Technologies, Inc. in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Senior Survey Technician with 10+ years of experience. The role involves performing survey tasks with a Professional Land Surveyor, preparing ALTA/NSPS surveys, and using Civil 3D for drawings from field data.

Responsibilities include stakeout, data processing, record keeping, client communication, and mentoring junior staff. Significant CAD experience and leadership are required.

Formación

• Minimum of 10 years of survey experience.
• MD driver’s license required.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Able to read cursive.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate with team and supervisor about workload and needs.
• Construction stakeout computations for field crews using construction plan sets.
• Prepare and check cutsheets for construction stakeout work.
• Records research to prepare deed mosaics for boundary/ALTA jobs.
• Process and interpret survey data collected in the field.
• Maintain and organize digital and paper survey records.
• Collaborate with planners, project managers and engineers regarding projects.
• Manage junior survey technicians and field crews.
• Manage project budgets and workloads.
• Communicate with clients and schedule field work.
• Communicate daily with field crews to provide direction and support for ongoing projects.
• Perform QC/QA on different types of survey deliverables.
