Qualifications

• Two years of experience in technical field survey work.
• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to maintain insurability.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate survey and data collection equipment.
• Prepare topographic surveys and provide data for engineers.
• Assist with elevations and control points data.
• Participate in surveying activities locating field evidence.
• Assist in area clearance during surveys and direct traffic.
• Answer public questions about engineering and surveying.
• Travel to remote sites for survey activities.
• Compile and input survey data for the state geodetic system.
