CIVIL SITE SERVICES, LLC in Fayetteville, GA seeks a Senior Construction Surveyor I Survey Manager to lead all surveying activities on site. You will manage crews, verify field conditions, and prepare survey documentation for site-work projects, ensuring precise stakeout for earthwork, utilities, and structures.

Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to resolve discrepancies, uphold safety, and improve surveying procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in construction surveying, site layout, and field measurement.
• Proficiency with survey instruments and technology (total stations, GPS/GNSS, data collectors, and related software).
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans, grading drawings, utility profiles, and construction specifications.
• Experience leading survey crews, coordinating field activities, and communicating effectively with project teams.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, job-site safety practices, and quality control standards.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Previous experience as a senior surveyor or survey manager in civil construction or site development is strongly preferred.
• Relevant technical education or certification in surveying, civil engineering technology, or a related field; professional licensure or registration is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and meet physical requirements typical of active construction sites.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to travel locally between job sites as needed.
