Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a Senior Surveyor to contribute to our Milton, DE projects on a full-time basis. The Senior Survey Technician will lead office-based survey production, process field data, and prepare accurate deliverables, coordinating with project managers, field crews, and CAD staff to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include QA/QC, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining standards and traceability.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in surveying.
• Proficiency with Leica Infinity and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Valid driver’s license; site visits may be required.
• Preferred: Survey credentials in DE (PLS or Surveying Intern).

Responsibilities

• Process and adjust survey field data to produce surfaces and alignments.
• Perform QA/QC on calculations and linework.
• Lead the establishment of office production standards and QA/QC checklists.
• Lead internal reviews of survey deliverables and coordinate markups.
• Coordinate with project managers and crews on deliverables and data needs.
• Prepare survey drawings, plats, exhibits, and reports.
• Maintain organized project files and processing logs.
• Support planning by estimating office processing effort and workflows.
