Pennoni is seeking an experienced Survey Party Chief to lead field surveying operations in the Hampton Roads, VA area. You will manage the daily operations of a survey crew on land surveying projects including geodetic, boundary, and topographic work and construction staking.

The role requires strong leadership with 8-12 years of commercial construction experience, proficiency in Excel and survey tools, and the ability to coordinate field layouts, QA/QC, and client communication on job sites.

Qualificações

• 8-12 years of experience with a concentration in commercial construction.
• Capable of field work which may include heavy manual labor
• Logical mindset
• Adaptive understanding of problems
• Experienced in field staff management

Responsabilidades

• Manage field crew in normal survey field operations for construction, property surveys and design surveys.
• Coordinate field layout for buildings and sites.
• QA/QC site control and layout information from the office.
• Read and understand construction plans and property plats.
• Manipulate digital cut sheets and point data in files.
• Oversee field instrument operations.
• Client communication on job sites.
• Manage use of field data controller and file transfers
