Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to support proposals, estimates, and project delivery in the Southeast. The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and regulatory compliance across complex survey projects.

Applicants should hold a Georgia Professional Surveyor license, GDOT experience, and 8–10+ years in surveying; PLS in other states desirable. Expect field and office collaboration, budgeting, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Must be a Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia; other state licenses desirable.
• GDOT experience required.
• 10+ years of experience managing survey projects.
• 8+ years of experience in land surveying.
• SIT license.
• Advanced knowledge with AutoCAD and Carlson.
• LiDAR collection/software experience (TopoDOT, Pix4D) a plus.
• GDOT MicroStation/Open Roads Design (ORD) desirable.
• GDOT SUE process knowledge desirable.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Assist Department Head in preparing proposals, estimates, presentations, employee evaluations, and recruiting.
• Coordinate with office staff and clients.
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules and resource allocation.
• Must have project management experience.
• Participate in pre-survey planning meetings with project managers and contractors.
• Adhere to survey regulations and Accura procedures.
