The ideal candidate is a Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia or eligible for licensure, with 10+ years in survey project management and experience with GDOT-related work and modern survey tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in land surveying, civil engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Must be a Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia; other state licenses are desirable.
• GDOT experience is required.
• Over 10 years of experience managing survey projects of varying sizes and complexity.
• Over 8 years of experience in land surveying.
• SIT license is required.
• 107 Remote Pilot’s Certification a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Carlson; LiDAR/TopoDOT/Pix4D experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Department Head in preparing proposals, estimates, and presentations.
• Coordinate with clients and office staff; manage project budgets and schedules.
• Lead field teams and ensure compliance with survey regulations.
• Utilize CAD, GIS, and survey software for data processing and deliverables.
• Engage in pre-survey planning meetings with project managers and contractors.
• Register as Land Surveyor in Georgia or pursue registration within a year.
• Coordinate resources and assist in recruiting and performance evaluations.
• Adhere to Accura procedures and GDOT/state regulations.
