Job summary

Sandis is seeking a Land Surveying Project Manager to lead boundary and topographical surveying projects in Campbell, CA. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of construction surveying experience (field and office) and holds a PLS license, with strong skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools.

You will coordinate with project teams, manage client relationships, monitor budgets and schedules, and mentor staff while pursuing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, geomatics or a relatable field.
• PLS license required.
• 8+ years’ experience in construction surveying (field & office).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and Liquid Planner.

Responsibilities

• Manage survey activities for project performance and completion.
• Coordinate with project members; attend and run meetings; manage documentation including change orders.
• Develop client relationships to share progress and effort.
• Set up projects including contract component review and compliance.
• Mentor teams and drive efficiency through teaching programs.
• Monitor team utilization and implement positive changes.
• Maintain awareness of budgets and schedules.
• Prospect for new clients requiring survey services.
• Present to senior management on trends and new service opportunities.
