Job summary

The Planet Group in Greenville, SC is seeking a Survey Manager to lead boundary, topographic, and subdivision surveys for public and private sector projects. You will mentor survey crews, coordinate with engineering teams, and manage schedules, quality, and client expectations.

Ideal candidates hold SC PLS registration, 8+ years of land surveying experience, and proficiency with Carlson Survey, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• SC PLS registration is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 8+ years in land surveying and mapping.
• Proficiency with Carlson Survey, GPS, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead teams across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead boundary, topographic, and subdivision surveys for public and private sector projects.
• Prepare Topographic Maps, Boundary Adjustments, Subdivision Maps, Records of Survey, and Legal Descriptions.
• Ensure compliance with surveying standards and legal ownership requirements.
• Direct field survey crews to ensure quality project execution.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
• Serve as technical advisor to engineering teams on surveying tasks.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout project delivery.
