Job summary
ETM Surveying & Mapping Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Survey CAD Technician to prepare high‑quality drawings, plats, and mapping deliverables from field data and legal descriptions.
You will review data for accuracy, mentor junior CAD technicians, and coordinate with project managers, field crews, and clients to ensure timely production and adherence to standards. Responsibilities include processing data from total stations, GPS, laser scanning, and performing boundary
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certificate in drafting or surveying
- 5+ years CAD technician experience in surveying
- Experience with ALTA/NSPS surveys and subdivision plats
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D; knowledge of MicroStation a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare and finalize survey drawings, plats, and mapping deliverables
- Process field data from total stations, GPS, and laser scanning
- Perform deed research, plotting, interpretation, and boundary calculations
- QA/QC work produced by junior CAD technicians and ensure standards
- Coordinate with Project Managers, field crews, and clients
