Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the OR team by planning, coordinating, maintaining, and controlling all operating room equipment and instruments. You will train OR staff on proper equipment use and collaborate with surgeons, Central Sterile, and outside vendors.

Responsibilities include routine and ad hoc maintenance, instrument set optimization, inventory par levels, onboarding of new staff, and ensuring timely case scheduling and equipment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist training program or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of OR experience.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the OR staff for equipment planning and maintenance.
• Train OR staff on correct use of equipment.
• Collaborate with surgeon office staff, Central Sterile staff and outside vendors.
