Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to support invasive procedures in the operating room. You will ensure patient safety, verify instrument trays, and maintain sterile technique throughout cases.

Expect to assist surgeons, manage equipment, and participate in room preparation and turnover. Industry-standard credentials and BLS are required, with union-affiliated scheduling under SEIU-CBA.

Qualifications

• 3 Years Experience as a surgical technologist in a hospital setting.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS) - REQUIRED.
• Certified Surgical Technologists (CST) OR NBSTSA CSFA OR NCCT TS-C - REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate safe and effective conduct of invasive procedures; ensure OR safety and proper equipment function.
• Perform sterile technique; set up sterile table and assist surgeon during procedure.
• Count instruments with circulator; maintain sterility; prepare room for next case.
